Day By Day Itinerary

Morning arrival into London Heathrow Airport. Meet with your tour guide, coach and driver and load luggage onto coach. Drive into London (where we will collect Colm, Laura and any passengers who choose to do a pretour night on their own) for a guided panoramic sightseeing tour passing famous sights such as Buckingham Palace, House of Parliament & Big Ben, St Paulโ€™s Cathedral and Tower of London. Take a flight on the London Eye, the worldโ€™s highest observation wheel. Afterwards, transfer to your central hotel and check in for a 2 night stay. Rest of the day and evening free. Pretour passenger pick up will be from the groups hotel for this evening ONLY – strongly suggested any passengers wishing to do a pretour night book themselves into the same hotel the group will stay at this evening – 02 October

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer for a visit to Warner Bros Studios and enjoy a visit to the fascinating world of Harry Potter, see the sets, costumes, visual effects as well as an opportunity to browse the gift shops for souvenirs! Afterwards, head into Windsor for a visit to Windsor Castle, the largest inhabited castle in the world and the official residence of HM The Queen. Return to the hotel. Free for own dinner.

Breakfast in the hotel. Check out, load luggage and head west stopping at Stonehenge for a visit to the iconic standing stones more famous now for the Summer Solstice gatherings. Continue into Bath and a visit to the Roman Baths, one of the best-preserved Roman sites in the UK. A visit to the Pump Room is included and refreshments can be taken here, at own expense. Continue into Cardiff, the capital city of Wales. Check into your central hotel for a 1 night stay. Banquet style dinner in Cardiff Castle.

Breakfast in the hotel. Check out, load luggage and head north into central Wales stopping at Machynlleth with free time to explore the town. Continue into the Dee Valley and take a gentle stroll along the Pontycysyllte Aquaduct, situated over the River Dee and a popular route for narrowboaters to admire the views over the valley below โ€“ not suitable for anyone with a fear of heights! Onto Conwy and check into your hotel for a 1 night stay. Dinner in the hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel. Check out, load luggage and head into Snowdonia National Park for a train ride from Llanberis to Clogwyn Station along the Snowdon Mountain. Continue into Llandudno on the North Wales coast. Time for own lunch. Afternoon ride on the Great Orme Tramway, the only cable-hauled public road tramway in Britain. Check into your coastal hotel for a 2 night stay. Dinner in the hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel. Full day exploring North Wales, maybe a drive over Menai Straits bridge onto Anglesey for a visit to the railway station with the longest name: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

Breakfast in the hotel. Check out, load luggage and head north stopping for a visit to Cheshire Falconry and experience a bird of prey exhibition. Continue into Liverpool and a visit to the British Music Experience Museum to learn about the history of British Music including the iconic Beatles. Rest of the day free to enjoy the city. Check into your hotel for a 1 night stay. Free for own dinner.

Breakfast in the hotel. Check out, load luggage and head north into The Lake District and free time to explore Bowness on Windermere. Maybe take a leisurely boat cruise (not included)? Check into your hotel for a 1 night stay. Free for own dinner.
